"Fast 50" addresses intention deficit

Fast Company is out with its "Fast 50," people and products tackling, as Fast Company puts it, global malfunction. Call it profit for a purpose. It can take (some) kids away from the loom and put them back in school, overcome vitamin and mineral deficiencies and build confidence in Kyoto projects by insuring carbon reduction efforts. And by connecting the know-how with the want-to, business may just narrow the world's biggest gap, the intention deficit.

Making money ain't bad either.
